Overview of the Center

The International Training Center for Financial Planners (The Center) is dedicated to Developing Successful Financial Planners through Mentoring and Training.  While there is ample opportunity to obtain professional technical education for those entering the financial planning profession, there is little opportunity for practical, client-centered experience training and relationship-based skills training.  Excellent financial planning requires these skills.  We are dedicated to helping create excellent financial planners.

Through dynamic and interactive training and workshops, The Center empowers financial planners to experience:

--the depth and joy of the financial planning practice;

--the power of a client-centered practice;

--broader success for their clients, their employers, and themselves;

--deeper meaning in their own lives and the lives of their clients.

The Center's programs are interactive learning opportunities conducted by trainers who have experience in and are passionate about what they are teaching.  The Center trains its trainers to ensure the highest quality experience for participants.

The Center's programs focus on helping financial planners "be" highly-qualified and motivated.  We expect our participants to already have the technical education to "do" financial planning.  Our programs offer practical client-relationship-centered experience training,  which will bring alive the technical knowledge and Practice Standards endorsed by the CFP Board of Standards and the Financial Planning Standards Board.

Our participants will recognize that their expertise can change people's lives for the better.  A successful financial planner listens, engages, and embraces clients.  This trusted relationship is like that of family - a bond that no one wants broken.

The mentoring and training is performed by renowned, successful financial planners.  These instructors have decades of experience in and are passionate about financial planning.  Our educators are mentors who are trained to facilitate the learning experience to maximize the progress made by program attendees toward being successful financial planners.

Each program is customized for our students.  Customization can be country-specific with particular attention to cultural features; company-specific with unique offerings to its clientele; or education-specific, with advanced specialized topics.

Our programs are designed for all levels.  New CFP® certificants, more advanced planners, and planners who wish to develop their own mentoring and facilitation skills will find incredible value in our programs.  The common thread is stretching each participant to create a life-long relationship with their clients, through both internal self-analysis and external client understanding.
